I totally agree with you.
I finished her book last night. So awesome! As I was falling asleep, I thought about her being from Tennessee and thought how awesome it would be to actually hear her read a part of her book. Can we get the girl to come to the East coast??

Rhi

I have to say - I wasn't going to buy the book, because I have at least 10 books that I need to read. But, hearing her read it, with her cute accent made me buy it. MADE ME.

She comes to Austin on April 8th and I can't wait! I plan to have a picture just like yours on my blog that night! Awesome.

(see, us liberals and conservatives are so much alike! haha)

cool, sounds like you had a great time!

my mother in law is a romance author, but i haven't read her books yet because i am afraid it would be akward. LOL

You got to see Heather? How FUN! Sadly, I won't get an opportunity to see her as she won't be stopping anywhere close to me. [sigh]

I'm glad you enjoyed meeting her. She must have an awesome sense of humor, to be able to write some of the stuff she does!

Also, I'm so sorry that I've not responded to your e-mail from a million years ago. I meant to, I'm just way behind. I'll probably get around to it on the one-year anniversary at this rate.

I am so jealous. Totally want to hop in the car tomorrow and head to San Fran to see her, but alas, it's my day to work in the preschool classroom. Dooce cracks my $hit up! Maybe I could have Adam photoshop me in that picture with you two!

You guys have the same haircut!

She came up to Seattle last night - well, actually NORTH of seattle, but our one car family had a car snafu and I couldn't find a ride. I was sad. Glad you had a great time!

Siera

I am envious! I wanted to see her in Seattle (I live in Victoria, BC) but it wasn't meant to be being on the eve of my son's 1st bday. I don't think he would've appreciated being carted to Seattle so mama could get a book signed.
