Help me help Forest Park by running ALLTHETRAILS

Pay it forward.

GRAVY

  • My first novel started with a mole. Yes, a MOLE - a freckle, a birthmark, whatever you want to call it.
  • I was at the pool with my daughter getting ignored by our swim instructor when a lifeguard with a particularly ripped abdomen walked by. He stopped to flirt with one of the female lifeguards and my eyes flew directly to an adorable mole on the top can of his six-pack.
  • "How cute!" I thought (among other things). "He looks like a character in a romance novel!"
  • So I went home and started writing fiction for the first time. That was over a year ago and I still haven't been able to stop. GRAVY is the story of a suburban housewife who wants another baby, but gets a man with a mole instead.
  • GRAVY is now available on Kindle and Nook!

That idea is why you are the one who opened a business and not him.

I am in total support of the bunnies, however.

How funny and coincidental that you posted this today!

Ok, so I am not a big bacon fan. I can eat like a bite of bacon and I am done. However, this morning, I made Wayne a nice big anniversary breakfast. I made bacon. And now I can say that I am absolutely a BACON GIRL!

All because of one bacon recipe. I have never had anything so good. I ate 4 slices! YES 4 BIG SLICES!! There are 3 slices left and they are all I can think about.

The recipe is from the Neely's on Food Network. Next time you make bacon - MAKE THIS!! I can't stress this enough. Plus it is easy as can be to make!

Here's a link to the recipe:

One side note, I only used 1/4 teaspoon of the Cayenne Pepper. I wasn't sure how spicy I would like it. 1/4 teaspoon was perfect spiciness. I think using 1/2 teaspoon might have been a bit too spicy for me. Either way - MAKE THIS NOW! :)

LOL! I don't know if bacon makes me quite as hot as apple pie a la mode with caramel sauce, but I can relate.

That was a great Seinfeld eppy: sex, a sandwich, and TV ("The trifecta!")
