In which we overreact to the weather because we still have California in our blood and OHMYGOD, THE HAIL! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!**
This was the view from the front porch, a veritable winter wonderland.
We had to run out there again a few minutes later when the gutters overflowed and the HUGE FIERY CRASH was so loud, we thought the house had been hit by a meteor.
** That is NOT my real voice. That is my EXCITED MOMMY voice. I swear, I'm not that much of a goob. (Actually, I totally am.)

Holy crap! That was some hail. I giggled a bit when Alex ran out shirtless. The hail though...that's kind of freaky!

Alex was hilarious! He was cracking me up! That is serious hail. How weird that we didn't get any of that at all here! I wish we had because I love hail like that - it is very cool!

We didn't get any hail in Portland (well in Beaverton anyway), unless I missed it, but judging by your video, it would have been hard to miss.

Hail is not freezing rain, jackasses.
(BTW, I remember being TOTALLY fascinated by hail when I was little)
