Pay it forward.

GRAVY

  • My first novel started with a mole. Yes, a MOLE - a freckle, a birthmark, whatever you want to call it.
  • I was at the pool with my daughter getting ignored by our swim instructor when a lifeguard with a particularly ripped abdomen walked by. He stopped to flirt with one of the female lifeguards and my eyes flew directly to an adorable mole on the top can of his six-pack.
  • "How cute!" I thought (among other things). "He looks like a character in a romance novel!"
  • So I went home and started writing fiction for the first time. That was over a year ago and I still haven't been able to stop. GRAVY is the story of a suburban housewife who wants another baby, but gets a man with a mole instead.
  • GRAVY is now available on Kindle and Nook!

Someone was just telling me the other day they saw one with a dad, mom, girl, dog, and cat. But the dad and the dog were partially scratched off. Maybe not a happy ending, but we all thought it was hilarious!

Erin

HOLY SHIT, dude, BE MY BEST FRIEND RIGHT NOW.

Funniest. Thing. Ever.

Amanda

I think that's FANTASTIC. Will you tell me why the reaper though? Any backstory? Either way... FUNNY!

Rhi

I just really like you.

Carrie

Both my husband and I think it is awesome!

WHY is Genoa wearing clothes??? ;o)

Funny.as.shit. What does Dave think about it? I should do one! My husband would have deer horns and holding a fishing pole, I would have my hair all crazy pokin' out, my teenager's mouth with be huge ..... girl, i could have so much fun with one!!

David

This was actually my idea except that I envisioned the Grim Reaper to be Amanda.

It is funny.

Carolee

That is too cool

Sally

This does look quite cute for a card or suchlike, but I do worry about the fact that names are included - for the paranoid amongst us it is quite easy to imagine a scenario where a "Stranger" knows the names of your children in a bad way.

Michelle

1) the grim reaper effect is really highlighted by the smile
2) your stick figure looks just like you
3) Genoa should have less clothes
4) harry is my favorite
5) and of course Alex is adorable, just like all of you

Laura

I want one! I went to the site and created my own, complete with Paul as a DJ and myself holding a laptop. But, I'm wondering if I really want one after all - I was hoping it would just be the white vinyl applied to the window. Y'know, without the edge of "clear" around the letters and in all the blank areas. Does it look pretty good in person?
