Pay it forward.

GRAVY

  • My first novel started with a mole. Yes, a MOLE - a freckle, a birthmark, whatever you want to call it.
  • I was at the pool with my daughter getting ignored by our swim instructor when a lifeguard with a particularly ripped abdomen walked by. He stopped to flirt with one of the female lifeguards and my eyes flew directly to an adorable mole on the top can of his six-pack.
  • "How cute!" I thought (among other things). "He looks like a character in a romance novel!"
  • So I went home and started writing fiction for the first time. That was over a year ago and I still haven't been able to stop. GRAVY is the story of a suburban housewife who wants another baby, but gets a man with a mole instead.
  • GRAVY is now available on Kindle and Nook!

PERFECT! I'm heading off to Amazon now to place my order.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Delurking to say...

I LOVE the egg cooker. I have a different one but does the same thing, and I LOVE it.

My mom got one when she married my dad... 38 years ago, and still uses it weekly. I finally got in trouble for stealing.. I mean borrowing it, and searched high and low for one.

Best appliance ever.Quick, no giant vats of water to deal with, easy to peel... love it.

Just stumbled across your blog, I'm really enjoying it! Especially the recipes, I will be trying out your pizza crust recipe very soon =)

I have the Cuisinart version of this - and it's really the best thing ever.

This has to be the weirdest thing I've ever seen! But, I just looked at it on Amazon, and everyone looooves it! I might have to try it, because the kids really love boiled eggs, and I can never seem to get around to it because I don't like being trapped with a pot of boiling water. LAZY. But.... hmmmm....

Elizabeth

OMG - Mine died this week and after trying THREE stores, which didn't have one, I found a Cuisanart at BB&B. Sheesh. Why doesn't Target stock these? I can't live without one.

Thank god you posted that. My mom had to be one to ask you about it because she asked me about it wondering if i recalled where you got it.

Then...... a week or so ago i called her on her cell and asked what she was doing and she said "I'm looking for that egg thingy like Mandajuice has"

Thanks!

g-mom

Daughter just called and said "Mandajuice just posted her egg-cooker thingy"! I stopped right in the middle of payroll to log on! LOL
I love you!!!! Husband was sick to death hearing about the (what has affectionately been called)damn egg-cooker thingy! Especially after the 4th store.
Thanksgiving, Easter etc. is a nightmare,a giant pot of boiling water, fogged glasses and steam burns from making dozens of eggs. Plus ooo egg salad OMG I am emailing the link to husband right now!
Simple things for simple minds...I'm so happy.
