I've been meaning to post here for days, but I haven't been up to it. Something bad happened to my new friend Jennifer (the one who hosted Bunco last weekend). Her husband had a massive stroke at his son's baseball game on Saturday. He's in the ICU and the outcome is still unclear. It's been all I can think about all weekend. Since there's not much I can do to help Jennifer yet myself, all can do is think good thoughts for them and cut my own husband some much-needed slack. I don't pray, but if you do, I don't mind asking you to include Randy and Jen in your prayers today.
I'll be back later today with a regularly scheduled update.

Hi Amanda
Long time lurker, first time comment.
I don't typically pray either, but I will send out positive thoughts to your friend. I can't even imagine how horrible that would be for her and their kids.
I need to tell my husband how much I love him and be more patient with him and my son. I would be utterly lost without them.
Thanks for a great blog!

I am so sorry for your friend and her family. How very sad. I'm not much for praying either but they will certainly be in my thoughts...
I can't imagine.
Chin up!

I've said a prayer for them.

Oh my Lord, how terrible. Best of luck to their family.

I don't pray, either, but your friend and her family will be in my thoughts, however little that helps.

I'm lighting a candle and sending as much positive energy as I am able. It's what I do.

I do pray, and have done so now. I can't even imagine...your poor friend...
