GRAVY

  • My first novel started with a mole. Yes, a MOLE - a freckle, a birthmark, whatever you want to call it.
  • I was at the pool with my daughter getting ignored by our swim instructor when a lifeguard with a particularly ripped abdomen walked by. He stopped to flirt with one of the female lifeguards and my eyes flew directly to an adorable mole on the top can of his six-pack.
  • "How cute!" I thought (among other things). "He looks like a character in a romance novel!"
  • So I went home and started writing fiction for the first time. That was over a year ago and I still haven't been able to stop. GRAVY is the story of a suburban housewife who wants another baby, but gets a man with a mole instead.
  • GRAVY is now available on Kindle and Nook!

Hey what about American Idol. I love your posts on that!! Also, how about some more good food ideas, I've share your roasted caulifower recipe with several coworkers and friends and family...we all love it!
I was thinking asperagus would work with the same basic concept. Thanks for all the great posts, I pretty much enjoy everything you write.

I have been waiting to hear how you knew you were done having children and content with the two you already have, I think you talked about it in a post discussing what you would be posting about soon. This is when you first brought up the topic of gastric bypass which were great posts but I have been dying to hear about the topic of having or not having more kids it is an issue I struggle with and I have two like you. But I love all your posts so whatever you write will be appreciated.

It would be great to hear more about Carol's decision to move near you (if she's ok with you sharing that). How has that transition been going so far?

I have a question. I'm about to have my 2nd in May. My first just turned 2. Did you get a double stroller and if so what kind and was it worth the price? Also any advice to a mom of 1 who is about to be a mom of 2?
