No wonder she screamed only for the last shot! It left a welt on her thigh the size and feel of a golf ball. It was the flu shot, in case you're wondering, the only shot that was optional and the immunization most likely to come in handy now that Alex is in preschool. Unfortunately, she'll have to get a booster in a month.
And because I'm seriously at a loss and there's only ONE DAY LEFT, here is a picture of my boy with fire in his eyes. He did NOT want his picture taken. Too bad.

You may think Genoa is orange but she is definitely the most beautiful creature ever! So, to the onlookers, she doesn't look a slight bit of orange. (And if someone does say something, just tell him that she is a professional orange jello wrestler...that will get them to shut up! :))
Forever a TNL and Mandajuice reader,
Sarah

ow! that looks like it hurt! poor kiddo. Strangely enough, Emily just got her 2nd flu shot on Monday and we have been fighting against a fever (102.something at its highest) and random acts of cranky ever since. Damn flu shot.

All shots are optional. If you haven't before, do your own research on vaccine safety and efficacy. You may be surprised at what you find out.

I love how she's holding her foot. She's such a cutie! Hope you kissed the owie!
Okay, I need to be slapped.

Ess just got her 6 month shots this week, and she, too, got a nice little welt from the flu shot. It's going down day by day, but I'm not looking forward to the booster either.
